Swim Tikes (4-6 years)

Our Swim Tikes program is an inclusive program for children aged 4 to 6 years inclusive, as we focus on skill building technique as your child progresses through each of our Swim Tikes levels. We have set the skills in this program to enhance what children can do when they reach particular milestones in development.

As these key skills improve each lesson, their swimming will improve:

  • confidence/independence
  • muscle memory
  • feel of water
  • balance
  • relaxation
  • breath control

Each child will spend approximately three terms of consistent swimming lessons in each level if they commence the program from four years of age. Your child needs to grow and develop as they progress through our program. Consistency is vital, if you miss classes or take time off, the progress of your child will slow down.

Creating safer behaviour around water is a key focus for our Swim Kids program. During the term your child will participate in safety extension skills and safety week at the end of the term.
