Ballina Swim School is endorsed by Royal Life Saving New South Wales and Royal Life Saving Western Australia and will facilitate various components of their Swim and Survive Programs during the term and holiday swim programs.
Ballina Swim School offers the Royal Life Saving higher awards program stages 10-16. The higher awards stages focus on swimming and water safety in the lead up to the Bronze Medallion (stage 16). This program teaches swimming, water safety, rescues, survival skills including different water sources.
Once a swimmer is awarded their Bronze Medallion they can then enrol in the Lifeguard course when they are 16 years old, or become a swim teacher.

Royal Life Saving Facilitator and community Trainer
Briana has been a community trainer with Royal Life Saving WA since 2009 and has facilitated Bronze Medallion, Resuscitation and the Heart Beat Club courses
Royal Life Saving NSW has endorsed Briana as a Gold Facilitator for Ballina Swim School for the Swim and Survive Program, Bronze Medallion and Resuscitation awards.
Briana completed the AUSTSWIM Presenter training in Sydney 2013 and has been presenting the AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety since 2015.
